Last year, Amazon hosted a beauty product event in October, so another moment of sales in that time frame isn’t entirely unprecedented. But this year’s fall event looks like it could be akin to Prime Day 2.0, as both summer and fall sales are “expected to feature frenzied sales of TVs, sneakers, and other items,” according to business Insider, Amazon did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
