minecraft The team tweeted on Friday that the team was “saddened by the loss of TechnoBlade”, writing that it “brought great joy” to the game’s community.
We are trying to find the words, but here at Minecraft we are all saddened by the loss of Technoblade. He meant a lot to our community and brought a lot of happiness. He will be truly missed.

Technoblade was hugely popular minecraft The streamer, with over 13 million subscribers on YouTube, and was part of the hit server Dream SMP. In a YouTube video published last Thursday, Technoblade’s father read a message from the streamer and discussed the work that went into making this final video as he battled cancer. At the time of this writing, it has been viewed more than 54 million times.
Tributes to Technoblade have been received from other streamers and members of minecraft maker community. In the days that followed, countless pieces of fanart have also been posted to Twitter in commemoration.
minecraft The team hasn’t directly acknowledged the updated splash screen yet, but it has apparently moved on to this small change in tribute. The original version of the launcher image still features a pig in the same position, but it lacks the TechnoBlade’s trademark crown.
