Artemis 1 rocket's 'Path to the Pad' 

The final rollout of the SLS rocket and Orion capsule this week ushers in a new era for NASA.

all eyes will be on the Kennedy Space Center in Florida as NASA's beautiful Artemis 1 rocket and Orion spacecraft make their way to Launch Complex 39B.

The rocket, which is said to be more powerful than any other, will travel four miles.

To commemorate the occasion, NASA has released(opens in new tab) the first chapter of the "Path to the Pad" series.

This month's milestone mission will be chronicled in a video series. This first part focuses on the massive Space Launch System (SLS) rocket.

The new 13-minute video contains footage of NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) and the perplexing logistics of the massive rocket's evolution.

Northrop Grumman's Propulsion Systems Division in Promontory, Utah, developed the five-segment boosters.
