The Orbital Reef of Sierra Space and Blue Origin has passed System.

Sierra Space and Blue Origin's planned commercial space station has completed its System Definition Review (SDR) with NASA.

The SDR is critical to establishing the functional baseline for the commercially developed, owned, and operated Orbital Reef in low-Earth orbit (LEO).

It validates that the system is ready for the design phase by demonstrating the feasibility and achievability of the space station design.

NASA conducted a thorough review to ensure that the architecture of Orbital Reef meets the functional and performance requirements.

The team will continue to refine the space station design in collaboration with NASA as part of the Commercial Low-Earth Orbit Development (CLDP) programme.

Customers from research, industry, international, and commerce will be able to establish their own business address in orbit thanks to the space station.

End-to-end services will be provided to clients, including space transportation and logistics, space habitation, equipment accommodation and operations.
