China Plans a 2-in-1,Jupiter and Uranus

China has its sights set on further out planets in the solar system after last year's successful landing of a rover there.

China plans to launch two spacecraft to investigate Jupiter and Uranus in the early 2030s as part of its growing Tianwen programme.

The objective is to launch two spacecraft simultaneously using a Long March 5 rocket.

in which the smaller spacecraft would travel away from Jupiter and the larger probe

would proceed outward in the direction of Uranus. The mission's specifics, known as Tianwen-4,

Wang Qiong presented the findings at the International Astronautical Congress on Wednesday in Paris,

Wang is employed with the Lunar Exploration and Space Engineering Centre of the China National Space Administration.
