During the late rock star drummer's tribute concert, Dave Grohl was overcome with emotion as he remembered his late bandmate and longtime best friend Taylor Hawkins.

Gallagher took the place of his late bandmate, Noel Gallagher, during a performance.
Hawkins died on March 25 in Bogotá, Colombia, after complaining of chest pains in his hotel.
Saturday's concert is the first of two tribute concerts to honor Hawkins. The second event will occur at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Sept. 27.
