Elbit deliver mortar systems to US Army

The US Army and SOSSEC have awarded separate contracts to Elbit Systems' subsidiary Elbit Systems of America for the provision of equipment to support warfighters.

The business has been awarded an ID/IQ (indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity) contract to supply the US Army with 120mm mortar systems.

Five years' worth of work will be done in Fort Worth, Texas.The contract might be worth more than $49m in total.

The first delivery of the $10 million order will include works that will be completed over a two-year period.
