Jake Paul's next boxing match will be against one of the best MMA fighters of all time, Anderson Silva, and will take place October 29,

 40-year-old's tweet with people close to the match, who said they could not speak in an official capacity because the fight had not yet been announced.

The rumour was first reported Monday by American YouTuber KeemStar.

The fight, according to KeemStar, will be confirmed by organisers soon.

Silva is widely regarded as one of the best fighters in UFC history.

He holds the record for the longest title reign in UFC history at 2,457 days as the promotion's middleweight champion.

He has victories over Chael Sonnen, Vitor Belfort, Yushin Okami, Forrest Griffin, and Dan Henderson, among others.
