In June 1997, a rematch for the title was scheduled, but it was cancelled after Tyson bit both of Holyfield's ears.
Tyson's camp turned down a $25 million offer, according to Holyfield in a statement to ESPN's Ben Baby.
In a November 2020 exhibition, Tyson faced another former star, Roy Jones Jr.
The auction for Holyfield's gloves runs through Sept. 17.
