According to Lockheed Martin, the US Army's decision to move forward with the JAGM programme on August 30
is evidence of the weapon's development and the military's faith in the technology.
The achievement also signifies the effective conclusion of JAGM's operational testing on the AH-64E Apache of the US Army
and the AH-1Z Viper of the Marine Corps, according to Lockheed.
The US-based aerospace giant will mass-produce the missile without restrictions as a result of the most recent ruling.
According to Lockheed Martin vice president Jerry Brode, "JAGM has consistently demonstrated that it can be relied upon when it matters most,
providing mission-focused offensive and defence capabilities and preserving a competitive edge against potential adversaries."
